Click & Collect from Park Garage Group's EV hub

Turning EV dwell time into transaction time makes sense for retailers and is convenient for customers. When drivers are spending 20+ minutes on your forecourt - it's about turning your EV charge point into a digital storefront.

Park Garage Group are leading the way on this with their Bakery 79 brand. Working with MADIC UK, as their long standing EPOS partner, and powered by Altaine's Q-jump platform. Customers can scan, order and collect their food in-store - no app download required, no friction added - capturing revenue from this previously untapped moment.

Once the customer has accessed the online ordering portal they can order Bakery 79 click and collect from anywhere, making the most of QR code-based mobile ordering. Because the technology is seamlessly integrated to MADIC's evoPOS, orders go straight to all EPOS in-store, so staff can easily see the order details and stock is managed as normal.

Manoj Tandon, Technology Director, Park Garage Group, said: “Being able to offer customers different ways to shop increases sales opportunities for us, as well as giving customers choice and convenience. Our next step is kiosk ordering from the Hub with a delivery-to-car service.
Having a technology provider like MADIC UK who can make this happen for us with advanced EPOS functionality, as well as digital media management, is vital to our business strategy.”

The click and collect QR code is displayed on the EV media totem provided by MADIC digital with Bakery 79 media managed by MADIC's Highview3 platform, which allows media on multiple sites to be managed from one point.

Emma Baillie, Solutions Management Director, MADIC UK, said: “We are in a unique position to develop technology solutions that go beyond standard EPOS – our mission is to work with our customers and partners to bring innovation to the industry. Ensuring our retailers keep ahead of market trends.”

Loyalty is key to encouraging repeat footfall in today's competitive retail landscape, that's why we integrated evoPOS with Ubacart's next-generation loyalty solution, allowing PGG to launch its own Bakery 79 branded app across its stores.
